Herbert Christmas Cards

A friend requested Herbert Christmas cards. Here's what I came up with.

Kids!

I finished an order for four of my little owls, but the collection I've built up made me think it was time for some family photos.

Almost done! Now I know why you never see teeth in any of Sargent's portraits.

A pause for the flurry

So, I've been a bit tied up and not quite as productive as normal. I've been working on a portrait, helping with my little sister's wedding (she got married last weekend!), and sewing more strange little owls when I have the a moment to spare.

The little red guy is available in my Etsy shop. The green one is a gift, but I plan on making more similar to him soon.

Website re-vamp

I spent some time remodeling my website - I put up new wallpaper, reorganized the furniture, added a room, etc. There are a couple small things that need tweaking, but overall, I think I'm pretty happy with it. Have a look! Let me know your thoughts!

I'm getting close to wrapping this little guy up. He looks so peaceful, it lulls me a bit while I'm working on him.

I know it's been awhile...

I've been busy working on a portrait as well as some more illustrations for my Herbert book (I swear, it's almost done!).

I came across this cute little video - if I could make Herbert come to life, I bet he'd be a lot like this little cutie:
